1 - Taxes

Rustic Articles pay 5% tax on the value declared in the deed;
     
  • "First habitation" the IMT - Municipal Tax for Transactions in Urban Article (for residential purposes) - Up to € 92,407.00 0% is exempt from IMT (0.0%), and up from this value will have to be made ​​other calculations in accordance with the law.

In Rustic Articles, 5 % tax (IMT)

Others considered urban articles "not for habitation constructions" such as:(attachments, agricultural buildings, pavilions, etc.) always pays 6.5 % of IMT on the transaction amount.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 - Cost of Deed and Registration (Escritura e Registo)

 

  • We cannot specify a fixed value for the cost of the Deed and registration. It depends on the "fees" charged by each Office. 3 - IMI Values

 

  • In rural areas and, particularly in the interior of the country, the amount to pay annually on Urban Construction of IMI - Property Tax, is substantially lower compared to the Urban rate charged.
